Your Voice is at Risk

OUR QUALITY OF LIFE IS AT RISK. TAKE ACTION ON FEB. 27.

The House of Representatives has passed legislation aimed at creating a new city in South Forsyth. Unfortunately, adding another layer of government will do little more than increase property taxes, add more red tape and put Forsyth County’s quality of life at risk. Unlike our neighbors in Fulton, DeKalb and Gwinnett, we retain the unique qualities that make use one of the most desirable places in which to live, work, raise a family and retire. One of those unique qualities can be attributed to our community’s unity—additional cities will only deplete finite resources, impact services and create additional layers of unnecessary government bureaucracy. We cannot afford to put our future at risk by following the lead of Gwinnett, Fulton and DeKalb by forming more cities and creating more layers of government. A united Forsyth County will continue to help propel our community to new heights. Now is not the time for division. Please ensure your voice is heard. Stop Sharon Springs and stop higher property taxes. Now, more than ever, your voice must be heard.
